Sebold lives on the Midcoast of Maine. Her watercolors
speak of the singular beauty of our coast. They
begin with sketches and photographs done on location.
Later using a wet technique on rag paper she develops
them into full blown paintings. Her fragile brush
work created through a delicate building of thin
layers of watercolor suggests the impressionistic
while retaining a quality of nature. She has taught
throughout the Eastern U.S., the Carribean and aboard
several of Maine's famous Windjammers. |
